Inala State School is governed by an
Enrolment Management Plan (EMP) (PDF, 208KB) with a clearly defined catchment area
determined by the Department of Education and Training (DET). Inala State School can only accept
applicants within this catchment zone other than at the Principal’s discretion.

A school’s local catchment area is the
defined geographical area from which the school is to have its core intake of
students. To view the catchment map please visit the Queensland Government website, or come to the school’s administration building. Parents or legal guardians who wish to enrol their child at Inala State
School will need to provide CURRENT evidence of residency within the catchment
area. Proof of residency can be provided through documentation such as:

The following groups of students will
be entitled to enrol, even though they may reside outside the school’s
catchment area:
Children and young people who are subject to child protection orders that grant guardianship or custody to the Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services
Siblings of current students at the school (intended enrolment commencement of the sibling must be concurrent with the attendance of current student for the application to be valid. For example, if your child is starting school in 2019, and their sibling will graduate in 2018, the application will not be valid and they must attend their catchment school)
Students whose parent or legal guardian is employed by the school
Students who have been excluded from another school, dependent upon the conditions related to the exclusion, subject to agreement of the Regional Director
