Teaching and Learning

At Inala State School we implement the Australian Curriculum from Prep to Year 6. The Australian Curriculum encompasses the following Learning Areas: 

English 

Mathematics

Science 

HASS (Humanities and Social Sciences)

The Arts 

Technology 

Health and Physical Education


The (C2C) Curriculum into the Classroom resources developed by Education Queensland are used to support teaching and learning.

Curriculum planning is organised and every term to ensure our curriculum programs are innovative and aligned to the new Australian Curriculum.

The School Motto, ‘Through Knowledge We Grow’ gives students opportunities to achieve their potential and become confident members of a society that values all cultures. Opportunities from all cultures and learning from each other.

CAFÉ – Strategies and resources used at Inala State School is to help students learn and understand comprehension. Providing differentiated groups and activities for learning in all areas and supporting individual students.

Classroom 

Inala State School uses P-12 curriculum, assessment and reporting framework to help support students’ progress and academic achievements, learning, wellbeing, engaging and reporting to parents and communities.

7 Steps to Writing Success is a framework we use at Inala. The students are using strategies in writing their story writing and this is very exciting.
