Inala State School is a Prep to Year 6 co-educational state primary school located in the western suburbs of Brisbane. Our Motto, 'Through Knowledge We Grow' provides the platform for our way of working. The school is known for its multicultural community, with many families from African, Indigenous, Pacific Island and Vietnamese cultures. The school and local community celebrate culture through sport, dance, art and music. Parents, carers and community members are a valuable resource to Inala State School and contribute to ensure that cultures are shared and understood. Inala State School has excellent facilities including a pool, performing arts facilities and a large multipurpose hall. Classrooms are well equipped with each air conditioned class having access to modern technology including sound amplification system (SAS) in every classroom. Inala State School has a large hall which students use on a daily basis.
Students from the school take part in district, regional and state sporting activities including interschool sport and gala days. Digital Technology, Music, Health and Physical Education, are conducted by specialist teachers with ICT embedded in all classrooms.
The school community cultivates partnerships with outside organisations to support and work together to ensure every student succeeds. Parents, carers and families celebrate educational, cultural and social/emotional outcomes with the school and wider community. Our partnership with PCYC provides before and after school care, as well as vacation care, for students in our local area.
